Paul Webel

Teaching Elder

Pastor Paul joined the family at Redeeming Grace Bible Church after serving the church for over 15 years in a variety of pastoral roles. He holds 3 masters degrees from both Liberty University and Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has a Masters of Arts, a Masters of Religious Education, and a Master of Divinity. His most cherished blessing is his family. He is married to Priscilla and they have three sons, Joshua, Levi and Elijah. They enjoy golfing, hunting, fishing, hiking and traveling as a family. Priscilla is a stay at home Mom who homeschools the boys. You can also find her teaching Sunday school classes, organizing fellowship gatherings, or hosting dinners at their home as a way to serve the local church. The Webel's family prayer is that they would diligently carry out the Great Commission in their everyday lives to the glory and praise of Jesus Christ.

While playing minor league baseball in 1991, the Lord saved Carl by opening his eyes to the truth of the Gospel through the ministry of an opposing team's chaplain. From that day, his life was never the same. Carl serves as a preaching elder at RGBC, and fills the pulpit on a bi-monthly basis. He is currently pursuing his Master of Divinity at The Master's Seminary. Carl's desire is to study God's Word so that he can first understand it better for himself, and then teach it to others, since it has the power to change lives. One of his favorite verses is 2 Corinthians 5:21, "He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him."
